The Legacy On Smartphones
To receive The Legacy on your Blackberry Curve 8530 and many other Blackberry phones Please Download Tunewiki (100% FREE no forced upgrades) by using the Blackberry Appworld application inside your Blackberry. You may have to google for the newest version of Appworld if your version does not work. Tunewiki shows the Lyrics of the songs as they play as well. Click Internet Radio then Shoutcast then search. Type Legacy and you'll see Loudcaster The Legacy. Select the 24K stream as its AAC+ and Stereo don't select the 64K Mp3 Mono stream Uck!
To receive The Legacy on MOST smartphones other than a Blackberry head over to http://yourmuze.fm on your smartphones's browser. Sign up as a new user and then search for The Legacy. Loudcaster: The Legacy is the one to pick. Once you've selected the station and edded it to your My stations list you'll need to head to m.yourmuze.fm to listen. This trick does work on the Blackberry Storm and the Blackberry Curve 8530. iPhones most likely can use Yourmuze as well, but if not there are plenty of apps for the iphone but you'll want one that receives Shoutcast Radio stations.
Windows mobile phones may be able to use the Flash player at http://thelegacyrocks.tk as it even works on a ps3s.
Remember an FM stereo transmitter like the Belkin will allow you to transmit your device to your car Stereo and sounds GREAT we do this all the time to monitor our station in the car while we travel.
If you have a different music enabled smartphone/cellphone that has an unlimited data plan you should be all set. Make sure you have UNLIMITED DATA which Verizon does offer with their Blackberry smartphones. US Cellular does as well as I've tested the Blackberry Curve 8530 with US Cellular. For straight talk users you'll need a phone costing greater than $100 (for the phone) and the $45/Mo prepaid cards then you should get internet Radio. Check out their website for more details.
